It has been a few days since I’ve posted something. But I finally found time to represent to you guys an adorable little girl from Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (no Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai). I’ve ordered a lot from the Good Smile Company brand. With Sinon and Menma I have several other GSC pre-orders waiting. Unfortunately, all 3 pre-orders from late February are delayed! We’ll see Nagato (Kantai Collection), Sinon (Sword Art Online II) and Wo Class (Kantai Collection) in a few months. I’m trying to hunt down the Wo Class Nendoroid for this month, because I really want her!
Now back to the special girl that we’ll look at today. I did try something new, called a video review. You can watch it here if you prefer a video of Menma!
It’s probably not the best video out there, but it was fun to give it a try. The thumbnail itself is all adorable already!
Here she is in her box. Although I bought Menma as a re-release, she still kept her first release box. I really like the box since it shows Menma’s personality. It looks very happy and spontaneous, just like Menma.
Several poses on the sides. Honestly, all poses are cute. I couldn’t really decide how I wanted to pose her.
One different pose on the back, the one with the closed eyes. Next up, what does she look like in her blister? What goodies does she come with? Here we go!
2 different face plates, a sweet, gentle, closed eyes expression and a cool, forcing-you-to-eat-my-cookies expression. Several flowers that go around the base. Her book, her Japanese cookie-ball-things, the arm holding the pink flower and a white ribbon.
On the back of the blister… More arms! Seriously, she comes with a lot of arms. Even 2 little legs. And down there we see her base.
The pictures that I’ll show next were taken on a different time, therefore the lighting changed in the pictures.
There she is! Such a cutiepie. But seriously, putting those flowers into their pegs was super painful. Menma’s base is so colorful, I wonder how many other Nendoroids have special bases like these. The base has only one hole for the stand. Not only her base is interesting. Her stand is interesting as well.
Her stand has a magnetic cushion! And it seems that Menma has a magnet somewhere in her hair as well. So they work out together!
Her dress has amazing details, it’s sculpted very well.
I think that we’ll have to grab a cookie. Next figure post will be about the Nendoroid More: After parts set 1 and set 2!
I hope you guys liked this post! Be patient and stay curious for more!
