Nendoroid Eli, Nozomi & Nico training outfit version!

Hello!

It has been a while since I’ve visited my own blog. But I find it hard to share my pictures somewhere, so I decided to post them here again.

I’ve received the last 3 Love Live Nendoroid training outfit version last month. And with this I have all 9 Love Live Nendoroids. Playing with all 9 of them led me to the conclusion that Nico is definitely the most fun out of all of them. I love how all 9 Nendoroids come with different types of accessories (except Eli, she just has a hair piece). The second awesome thing about these Nendoroids is that they are perfect for photography, because they can be posed in so many ways together. Now if I only had a cute diorama, I would take more pictures. Therefore I’ll try to make one, so I can get more into figure photography. Besides photography, I had decided to make videos of my figures. They’re all up on my Youtube channel and the next video is already in the making!

Unexpected loot from a friend!

Hello whoever reads this!

I haven’t visited my blog in a while, but I’m back. I’ve been busy recording videos of my hauls and a review. You can watch them here, please subscribe if you like it! I really appreciate every support. c:

Anyway, here’s the backstory behind this loot. My friend went to Tokyo for 2 months and of course, I wanted to see Japanese goodies. So I had sent her some money to spend for me in Japan and today the parcel arrived!

 

I have no idea how she was able to put all this stuff inside. The box was packed in pink paper with a bunny on the front and a bear on the back.

Food
We’ll start with all the food that was inside.

Chocolate doughnut candy! It has 5 different flavors and every doughnut has 2 different shapes. The flavors are almond, cookie, choco banana, strawberry and flour (?).

Love Live’s Maki! But wait.. Maki chips? Maki caramel corn! I have no idea what that is and what it’ll taste like.

I guess this is some kind of chips. I do not know what they’re showing on the package. It looks like something that tastes like meat or fish covered in flour.

The super famous matcha tea Kit Kat! I will definitely try one tomorrow, they look super tasty.

One of my favorite cookies! I had found these back then at an anime convention, because I was hungry. They taste very salty when you put it in your mouth and when the cookie starts to melt on your tongue it tastes like those children/baby cookies which also melt on your mouth because they get so soft. And yes, I like salty and yes I like baby cookies so this is a great combination.

A Rilakkuma pouch! Not sure what I will use it for, but the outside of the pouch is super fluffy!

Gashapon! She has got me two.

A hamster with a leaf on his head and apple pie with a puff of whipped cream. I like hamsters and I like apple pie, this is perfect! The size is actually pretty nice for Nendoroids.

In the other gashapon is a Nico key chain! I hung her next to my Kotori key chain on my dream catcher. I just hang them somewhere in my room since I would break or lose key chains if they would actually hung on my keys.

A super cute Maki cup! I will definitely drink lots of water from it this summer.

More Love Live?!

A Maki long clear poster from TatePos!

Nana volume 1 and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun volume 1! I actually wanted to read Nana, because I had seen the anime and the same story goes for Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. Although I can read Japanese (only Hiragana and Katakana lolol), I barely can translate anything. So this will be fun.

Random

A free magazine which had a map of Akihabara in it, it showed stores that sell anime merch and other nerd stuff. Hello Kiss-Shot!

Fake eyelashes and a face mask. Two things I barely use in my life, but I wanted to give it a try.

A pen to write pretty in Japanese! Or at least, I hope I can write in Japanese with this pen.

Figures
I’ve kept the best for last. The figures!

Shimakaze from Kantai Collection by SEGA! Although Shimakaze has a lot of figures made by big manufacturers, I really prefer this one. This one might not be the prettiest or has not the highest quality, but it does have the best pose. Or at least, I preferred a more dynamic pose and SEGA’s Shimakaze had it! I like her size, she might be 1/8 or 1/8,5. Her base is her biggest con, but it probably can’t be helped because of her pose. I just hope she won’t lean, because she’s a prize figure.

Battleship Princess or Senkan Seiki, also from Kantai Collection by Taito! Apparently my friend had a lot of trouble finding this figure. But she did find her in the end and I love it! Her crazy base makes up for how tiny she is. Her size should be around a 1/12, because her proportions look like Figma proportions. While I was trying to get her into the base, I kept looking at the hand and at some point the hand freaked me out a little. Because the sculpt of that hand is very good.

Here you can see the huge size difference between the two prize figures.

Review: Nagato Figma #232

Hello everyone! Figma number 232 from Max Factory arrived last week, her name is Nagato and she is a battleship from Kantai Collection. She’s the secretary ship and therefore she is totally badass, although it seems she has a weakness for squirrels..

Loot: FuRyu Kuubo Wo-Kyuu (Wo Class) from Kantai Collection!

Hello everyone!
Today we’ll be looking at FuRyu’s Wo Class figure. Wo Class is from the enemy fleet of the Kantai Collection browser game (also has an anime adaptation!). She has a very interesting and unique design, so I decided a few days before her release to pick her up! Even though I’ve also ordered a scale version of her (Good Smile Company’s Wo Class), I just want more Wo Class!

Wo Class
She’s only 19 cm tall (including her base) and she was released the 26th of February. Wo Class often pops up for around ¥1500 – ¥2000 on second-hand websites if you decide to pick her up!

Today I’m going to show you an extra set to dress up your Nendoroids. They’re called Nendoroid More After Parts, there were 2 sets available and I’ve bought both! The sets were fairly cheap in my opinion and they were definitely worth it. It was a lot of fun to dress up my Nendoroids and give them a different look than they’d normally have.

Hello everyone!

It has been a few days since I’ve posted something. But I finally found time to represent to you guys an adorable little girl from Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (no Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai). I’ve ordered a lot from the Good Smile Company brand. With Sinon and Menma I have several other GSC pre-orders waiting. Unfortunately, all 3 pre-orders from late February are delayed! We’ll see Nagato (Kantai Collection), Sinon (Sword Art Online II) and Wo Class (Kantai Collection) in a few months. I’m trying to hunt down the Wo Class Nendoroid for this month, because I really want her!

Now back to the special girl that we’ll look at today. I did  try something new, called a video review. You can watch it here if you prefer a video of Menma!

It has been a little while, seems like the winter season is a busy one! There’s lots of stuff to do (especially in Guild Wars 2). Today I’ll be chatting a little bit about one of my most favorite characters ever, Sinon! I already own a prize figure of her and I couldn’t stop myself from getting a cute chibi version of Sinon. Today I will talk about a package I received a month ago. Two figures arrived and they are totally the opposite of eachother. One is a badass, insane girl and the other is the most adorable, childish girl you’ll have ever seen (if you have seen the anime of course, the figure made her look somewhat mature). Here’s a picture of the box the girls had arrived in.

Music: BANKS live concert at Paradiso Amsterdam

Hello everyone! Today I’ll post about a total new subject: music. Less than a month ago I visited BANKS’ concert in Amsterdam. She’s a (female, people tend to think she’s a male because of her name I guess) singer from Los Angeles. One day I stumbled upon her Soundcloud and I fell in love with her songs. I couldn’t wait for her new songs, all her songs were on replay for a month or 2 maybe even 3. At some point I a kind of forgot about her, because I found new music to listen to. Even when her album Goddess dropped, I wasn’t as excited for her music anymore as before. I didn’t even listen to the album in the end. But my friend told me that she was doing a tour and she would visit Amsterdam as well. At that point I got totally excited again, but I still hadn’t listened to her new album. On november the 15th (the day of the concert) I was on the bus on my way to the concert and I gave her album a try. There were songs I already knew, so I skipped those for the new ones. A few songs were very nice, but I still wasn’t convinced.

After the concert..

Duuuuuude, first of all she was just so amazing! Second, I’m not doubting her album anymore. I’m loving almost every song now and I still listen to her album. BANKS started the concert with hesitation and you could see that she was nervous. But when she started to feel more comfortable on stage she sang live perfectly.

Loot: FuRyu Undine special figure Asuna!

Hello guys!
Today I will show you FuRyu’s Undine Asuna! She was just as difficult to get as FuRyu GGO Kirito, everytime I saw her popping up on Mandarake I was too late. I was already checking Ebay, but the prices were higher than Mandarake. And this time I finally had her. She was only 1,500 jpy and I will spoil already: it’s definitely worth the money.

Asuna
First we’ll take a look at the box. It’s as blue as Asuna’s hair from Alfheim Online. It’s a really cute and majestic box. It feels like we’re looking into a window that will take us into Alfheim Online. The box was bigger than I had expected as well.
